Niki Hayhurst, age 24, was born and raised in Keizer, Oregon. Niki attended McNary High School and graduated in 1999 receiving a full college scholarship to the University of Utah for softball. She received her Bachelors Degree in Experimental Education in Youth Development in December 2003. Niki's passions in life include: softball, children, traveling and love of all things. Curently, she works at the YMCA in Salem, Oregon as a supervisor of the Child Care Department. Niki is also the Head Coach for the ASA 16U Oregon Panthers.
Niki has an intense enthusiasm for working with children and of course, softball. She has a natural gift in connecting with youth in a positive manner to develop their skills by using her education, coaching skills and her own extensive softball playing experience.
Ken Roudybush trained Niki as a pitcher from ages 13 through 16. Niki later chose to make a transition to first base where she remained throughout her Little League, ASA, High School, College, and Professional Softball career. Niki holds several all time records for the MWC and the University of Utah with a career batting average of .343. Niki was also a "Scholar Athlete" and made the University of Utah's Dean's List Honor Roll.
Primary Position: First Base, #3 hitter in the line-up.

Niki was also offered a full College Scholarship to the University of Oklahoma as a volleyball player. |
